What’s the reasoning behind button fly jeans? They don’t seem to be all that different from their zippered counterparts. On a good day you fumble a little when retreating from the urinal and a night out on the town (after a few bars and beers) has you lookin’ like you are manhandling (I suppose the pun is intended) yourself just a bit too long, trying to making sure you are buttoned up right. I suppose it’s lightyears better than the alternative quick-zip error which makes many a man wince at the ungodly thought. I don’t imagine that it’s a big money saver. I say we just switch to Velcro. Simple and Safe, with no aesthetic change.
